The latest iteration of HPโs big data platform HAVEn comes with three new features including IDOL OnDEmand, an information platform that can be used for handling face detection,video movement detection and metadata.
BARCELONA โ HP released version 2.0 of HAVEn, also known as Hadoop, Autonomy, Enterprise Security and apps.
HAVEn is HPโs big data platform which brings together a number of software, hardware and IT services under a single computing and analytics framework.
HAVEn 2.0 will sport three new products compared to version 1.0, which was just an independent tool.
New to HAVEn is Vertica 7.0 with flex-zones for finding dark data of semi-structured data.
Robert Youngjohns, the GM of Autonomy, told a funny story where a banking customer was looking for an insider trader and they thought they could nab this person with an โinsider+tradingโ query.
